Old and New

So. Sad news is I had to euthanize my 17 year-old cat on the 5th. He had cancer that caused his jaw to become fused shut, as well as result in blindness and partial deafness. He managed to hold on for four months, but we decided to end it to keep him from suffering. He will be missed, the great guy.

Happier news is that we got a new kitten today. She's about eight months old and has messed up eyes, so she can't see too well. The SPCA got her off an old lady who was growing too old to care for her cats and they don't know if the kitty, who we named Finch, had a really bad case of rhino or if se was simply born with bad eyes.
